Aoyama Kanata is a well-known student who is always surrounded by classmates, yet he keeps a quiet emotional distance from everyone around him.
Senkawa Akira, on the other hand, is a top student who prefers to keep to himself.

They don’t know each other’s names or even which classes they belong to, but they recognize each other’s faces.

One day, they happen to meet on the stair landing leading to the school rooftop. In that quiet space—far removed from the noise of the school—they begin to talk about feelings they cannot share with anyone else.

Hidden in this corner that seems to belong only to them, the two share a single earphone, listening together to the sound of a guitar riff.

Without realizing it, the distance between them slowly fades, and their heartbeats begin to move in the same rhythm.
