Shintaro works at a publishing house, living what appears to be a stable and carefully ordered life. Beneath the surface, however, he carries a secret—he is gay, sharing a home with his bartender boyfriend, Tomotsugu. Yet long hours and an unforgiving schedule keep them emotionally and physically apart.

Despite his present relationship, Shintaro’s heart remains tethered to Yoichi, his first love from college, a feeling he has never fully let go.

One night, while working overtime, Shintaro is cornered by his colleague Mika. Drunk and emotionally unguarded, she confesses her feelings for him, forcing Shintaro into revealing his hidden truth. At that moment, a phone rings. Mika vanishes without explanation.

On the other end of the line, Shintaro hears a voice he never expected to hear again—Yoichi’s.
