The series is adapted from the novel of the same name by Kakuregi Uzura. It tells the story of a high school romance between Hioki Asahi (Kodai), an ordinary student, and Watarai Tsukasa (Hideyoshi), a popular boy who ranks at the top of the “school social hierarchy” and has a jealous personality.
SS1 : After being separated from his close friends during class reassignment, Hioki is invited by a former middle school classmate to join a group of four handsome boys known as the “Four Heavenly Kings.” From that moment, Watarai—one of the four—begins to show intense affection toward Hioki, who is naive and uninterested in romance.
SS2 : The story explores the realistic struggles and growth in love faced by high school seniors Hioki and Watarai, who became a couple during a school trip.
